Some world leading galleries can make incredible steps sometimes to have a masterpiece in their collection. Considering the price of those masterpieces, one question arises immediately: how the galleries are sponsored? If they get the funds from the local Government, another question comes in my mind: isn't it more humanistic and more useful to spend those funds for the economic situation improvement or for the hunger level reduction program in Africa, for example?
The London National Gallery needing 100 million pounds to have a piece of
canvas would rather take care about more important world things. Just think what can be done with this amount of money in Eastern Europe or in Asia. Think who would more benefit from this amount: poor people in Indian villages or the visitors of the Gallery having an aesthetic pleasure to see the picture?

I don't like big cars. I think that big car is not a car, but it is a bus. If I would be a president, I would forbid cars, and everyone would go with a bike, how it happened recently in China.

Nice photos, but there is not enough information: when these cars have been constructed what technical characteristics they had, what has become of them now? In general I like people who can make something with their own hands. It is unimportant: to draw a picture or to build a house, the main thing is that in this thing the person puts a part of his soul:

It appears diabetes is a vile disease. It's especially vile because practically it can't be treated. It's like a verdict to life imprisonment - a diet, insulin, the constant medical control… is it really impossible in 21st century to invent a medicine for this dirty trick???

I don't believe that Fossett will come back… The desert where he was lost is not the Robinson Crusoe's island where he could comfortably live several years. If only really aliens have invited him on a visit… ![]()
And as to his widow - it is
possible to understand her, presently there are so many bureaucratic
complexities - you will not live without a piece of paper.

I also should spend the most part of working hours in the Internet. It is very difficult to find the necessary information, but the Internet is the only place where it can be found – as it becomes outdated very quickly.
Probably it's not so important who and how much time spends in the space. As for me - I can not find time for the gym...

Well, it is probable Norwegians have strong reasons for such firm confidence of own safety. I think that
the conscription in Switzerland is more correct: small preparation and you
are a militarian for life.
